TAKEOVER OF THE LEGENDARY IRON MINES

The group acquires the legendary Badampahar Iron Mines in Orissa from the Tata Group. Started by Sir JN Tata in 1902, this till today is referred as the Mother Mines of Tata Steel.

1980

FORAY INTO GARNET MINING

The foray into garnet mining in Andhra Pradesh. This gem was to find its way to the cutting centers of Jaipur, thereby paving the initial path for a Mines to Market story.

1983

JOINT VENTURE FOR MINING RUBIES

The group enters into a joint venture consortium for initiating the first ruby mining venture of the country in Orissa. This was the next step towards making a strong backend for a jewelry brand.

1994

EMERALD EXCAVATION IN ZAMBIA

Steering our journey of excavation towards the rare treasures of Africa, we acquired management stakes in one of the foremost emerald mining companies of the region. Thereby becoming a key player in large size emerald jewelry and artefacts.

REHABILITATION OF ZAMBIA’S LARGEST EMERALD MINE

Within a very short span of our African gem pursuits, we proudly made a mark in the rehabilitation of Kagem, Zambia’s largest emerald mine.

2004

THE CREATIVE DIVISION TAKES OFF

From primarily being an excavation oriented group, we took the big leap into the creative design as our front end product. Haritsons Designs was born.

2006

IRON CRAFT DIVISION IS ADDED

Haritsons Designs adds an ornamental iron craft division to its product line with a state of art manufacturing facility.

THE RAMBAGH PROJECT

Our finesse in ornamental metalsmithing, right from gold to iron was beginning to be noticed by the connoisseurs around us. Hence came the opportunity to create architecturial masterpieces for the coveted Rambagh Palace Hotel.

SYMETREE WAS BORN

After moving to Jaipur, we could truly appreciate the Kachwaha dynasty’s passion for perfection that transcribed to this jeweled marvel, the kingdom of symmetrical planning and architecture. Hence the new brand was christened Symetree.

Our nascent jewelry brand crosses the first milestone of acknowledgement by bagging the Solitaire Design Award.

JJS GOLD SOUK AWARD

We were humbled to be recognised by the industry for accolading the entrepreneureship of our founder Abhishek Haritwal.

INDIAN JEWELER AWARD

This finally got us the hat-trick, three years in a row. An exciting impetus for a three year old brand.

BAAJA GAAJA

In a one of its kind association, we created legacy by confluencing music and jewels for the event Baaja Gaaja. Gratitude to our friend Shubha Mugdal- the classical maestro.

HARITBAGH

Inspired by the fortified retreats and desert fortresses of Rajasthan, we carved our architecture with the chisel of art and poetry. Haritbagh was born- Symetree’ s creative retreat destination.

OPRAH WEARS SYMETREE

The hollywood heartthrob Oprah Winfrey did us proud once again by adorning our hancrafted masterpiece for the jaipur literature festival. Our first stint of honour being on the cover of Oprah magazine.
